'Tu Tu Turquoise' (Paul Black, R. 1988). Seedling 86298AR. SDB, 10" (25 cm), Midseason bloom and re-bloom. Standards white tinted turquoise; blue white styles; falls white tinted turquoise, deep turquoise spot; white beard tipped light blue; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling B80-18: ('Indian Jewel' x 'Blue Pools') X seedling 82149B: (('Cindy Mitchell' x 'Velvet Pride') x 'Joyous Isle'). Mid-America Gardens 1989. High Commendation 1988, Honorable Mention 1991, Award of Merit 1993.

| From Mid-America Garden catalog, 1989: TU TU TURQUOISE - SOB, 10"(25cm), Midseason & variable rebloom summer & fall. I had decided not to introduce this one because the standards were a bit informal, but this cutie decided it would strut its stuff for convention goers who rewarded it with an H C. It bloomed again the first of November. Standards are white tinted turquoise. Falls are wide and the same color as the standards but with a deep, intense turquoise spot. The turquoise spot of Indian Jewel has always fascinated me and this is the 3rd generation of work to get that spot on a quality flower.
