Still the most un-enjoyable dungeon I've come across. Ludicrous mechanics for Tweedledee and Tweedledum (which sometimes don't even work...'go to the yellow circle if you're targeted by ice'....except, there weren't any yellow circles at the time..). That plus the monster set was nerfed to uselessness moons ago...maybe it's time to relook at this dungeon ZOS?

You do know you only get yellow circles to hide in if both brothers are alive, right?

Also, the monster set still gets used for parsing and in some content.

Yes, and ok sure....I've not seen Zaan's in years.

Hard disagree, one of the best dungeons in the game. If anything the max health of things needs buffed to current power scaling, especially in the HM. Would be cool to see HMs for other bosses in older DLC content too.

It's a fairly easy dungeon to run. Even Hard Mode isn't that hard. You know it was soloed when it first came out in Vet right? Way before Mythics and before Precog. And way before it was nerfed.

I see Zaan here and there. Saw it in Cyrodil not long ago. Was a bit surprised by that but whatever.

I like this dungeon. Interesting mechanics, solid monster set, one of the coolest skins in the game as a reward, interesting lore. I just wish the Mountain God achievement came with a title.

This dungeon and Fang Lair are super fun. Difficult mechanics that actually require paying attention, cool thematic elements, and grandiose set pieces.

Also, Zaan's is still very much used in both PvE and PvP. Just because you haven't seen it personally doesn't mean it isn't; that's a logical fallacy.

Honestly? I actually enjoy vet scale caller because of the mechanics and the fact that there really isn't a hard DPS check in the dungeon. SO long as you meticulously focus on the mechanics, you can make it through. Sure, the mechanics are complicated, and my group spent several hours working to master them, but once we got it, it was actually quite fun, unlike dungeons that are mechanic heavy AND that have hard DPS checks.

Man Scalecaller Peak is such a good dungeon! I remember a friend and I did the achievements for the sweet, sweet skin and I still rock it to this day. It's not super easy but it's also not insanely hard or cluttered with ten different stacking mechanics, but just enough of a challenge if you want to give it a go.

SCP is one of my favorite dungeons of all time. I enjoy the mechanics and getting Mountain God was a blast. Was super fun to go back in and do it on my tank after I’d had it done on my dps. Wish it came with a title.

If AwA wasn’t a thing, this is probably an achievement I’d try to get on all my characters for the fun!

The only thing wrong with Scalecaller peak is that I still can't use Mountain God as a title.

Even after all this years I can't help but feel a bit [REDACTED] when I see it written like this. Just that sort of [DATA EXPUNGED] feeling.

The trolls are harder than the final boss. But I will agree that Scalecaller is still a top 5 pug killer.

Agreed! I quite enjoy it and I feel that it does a better job of teaching you the mechanics than many of the newer dungeons, either through how they’re introduced, or the NPC’s instructions. One of the few skins I like too. Vet Scalecaller Peak (17)
