Are you one of the many who found themselves wondering “Now what?” after a certain platform recently announced that it would be demonetized at the end of this year?If yes, then this one’s for you.
First and foremost, being that I often have strong opinions that I do not shy away from sharing, I am going to start this off by sharing mine on this specific topic.
I personally have nothing but love, respect, and appreciation to share over this specific situation: the way AVN and GayVN Stars chose to go about closing down monetization.In fact, I want to acknowledge that — while I recognize it was quite a shock to many — it was great to be given ample notice and at least some attempt at explaining why.I applaud that and extend many thanks to a company that opened their door and invited us all in for a visit. So, thank you.
Now, back to the scheduled program.
Loyalfans is Loyalfans! Loyalfans is not Another Site
So, you’ve found yourself here at Loyalfans, and that’s great! The circ*mstances that brought you here may be filled with uncertainty, but I assure you: You are in great and capable hands on an amazing platform with an equally amazing support team.
Loyalfans’ Site Manager and Head of Support Andrew (aka Fandrew — please call him that!) is phenomenal. He has been working in this industry behind-the-scenes for a long time and quite honestly, in my opinion, is a breath of fresh air.
If you haven’t requested a site walkthrough with him, I recommend you do so.In fact, don’t hesitate to reach out to any and all Loyalfans’ staff through email or DM. Utilize the wealth of knowledge available, and you’ll benefit from it.
For this next part — andI’m going to say it because it needs to be said — I am going to Ye West caps lock holler it so everyone can connect. Here we go:
— THIS PLATFORM IS LOYALFANS.
— LOYALFANS IS A PLATFORM CALLED LOYALFANS AND, THEREFORE, IS NOT THE SAME AS ANY OTHER PLATFORM THAT IS NOT LOYALFANS.
— IF YOU COME TO THE LOYALFANS PLATFORM EXPECTING IT TO BE THE SAME AS A PLATFORM THAT IS NOT LOYALFANS, YOU WILL FIND IT IS NOT THE OTHER PLATFORM BECAUSE THIS PLATFORM IS LOYALFANS (NOT ANOTHER PLATFORM).
*cough*
I say this IN CAPS because I want to help prevent headaches for everyone — new creators coming to Loyalfans and the Loyalfans staff too. I also say it because I want to help protect the community from the inevitable burnout that comes when support staff is faced with a cloud of negativity coming at them. Especially when that negativity is spouted into public timelines, and extra especially when a simple DM when have been sufficient.
Why is it important to know that Loyalfans is Loyalfans (not another site)?
It is easy to get caught up in a parade of anger. We know this. We also know that it is better for your mental health, your goals, your bank account, and your reputation with your peers — as well as less taxing on your precious time — to bring concerns and requests directly to support staff.
At Loyalfans, I find that staff are more than willing to answer questions. But it’s important to remember that support staff are paid employees working a job to bring a paycheck home. They are people at work, people with feelings and such —just like you are.
Obvious right?
Loyalfans support staff are here to support you by working with you. Like I said, utilize that. Consider them a team member who specializes in a field with the knowledge you need. They are professionals and will help you in any way they are able, to the extent they are able to, regardless of your attitude, as they are paid to.
But, simply put, don’t growl at the hand that you are asking for help. A little kindness goes a long way on a long day. They want your time spent on the platform to be smooth and happy, but they deserve the same thing. So remember that kindness and consideration is free.
How to get help on Loyalfans
Besides walkthroughs and reaching out to support via DM or email, there are also weekly zoom meetings on Wednesdays at 4 pm ET that are hosted by Victoria Raye, a Loyalfans creator and industry veteran. These meetings are incredibly informative, and you can sign up by emailing QAVR@loyalfans.com
The link is sent out weekly, and it is low key, fun, and an opportunity to ask questions and for advice that you should take advantage of. There is also a wealth of information hosted on the site, including this blog — all of which is easier explained by Fandrew and staff at the walkthrough you are going to book as soon as you are done reading this, right?

Well, since I love seeing you utilizing the opportunities to optimize your earnings and I just know that you are planning to do that by using the tools set up to do just that, there is nothing more for me to say on this topic except this:I imagine this was a shocker and empathize with how stressful it is with things up in the air after a curveball was thrown, but you can do this!
You are brilliant and resilient. I am happy to see you here, and I hope you take my bluntness with the love it was intended.Let me be the first to open the metaphorical door to the platform you are no doubt going to be proud to consider home.
